Sourdough Pizza Bar Puffy Bois Shakes Up Fresh Cocktail Menu: Singapore, April 2024

Pizza and drinks lovers listen up! Cocktail and sourdough pizza bar, Puffy Bois, is turning over a fresh basil leaf with a new cocktail menu. If you haven't been yet, this well-loved spot on Bali Lane is known for killer sourdough pizzas, cracking cocktails, and its warm and friendly service in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
The revamped drinks list aims to be the perfect companion to those satisfying slices, offering something for every mood. Whether you're swinging by for a casual tipple with mates or need something potent to wash down your pizza feast, you're in good hands. The focus, as always, is on easy drinking – no fussy garnishes or overly complicated flavor profiles here.

Here's where things get exciting. Anchoring the menu is What What (S$23++) – a favourite from the last menu. It's Puffy Bois' signature customizable, sour-style cocktail that lets you play bartender. The heart of the drink is a punchy homemade citrus mix, then you pick your favorite spirit and how you'd like it served. Feeling bold? Ask about adding extra bitters, modifiers, or fresh herbs.
Seeking a classic aperitivo? Look no further than the Pillar to Post (S$22++). This bitter, herbaceous, and refreshing long drink brings together flavors from across the globe – Alpine Amaro, French Vermouth, and a unique Australian twist with housemade Strawberry Gum soda.

For something with a nostalgic kick, check out the Ok Go (S$23++). Inspired by co-founder Zul Zaba's childhood, this one is sure to remind plenty of Singaporeans and Malaysians of home. It's a clarified milk punch – think silky smooth – featuring coconut fat-washed gin, dry sherry, and clarified milk tea. The carbonated jackfruit ice cream soda on top adds an extra playful touch.
For Champagne lovers, the Box of Stars (S$23++) is calling your name. Described as "the Champagne cocktail's sexy cousin," this one has fruity notes, a touch of spice, and plenty of complexity. It brings together Galangal, Ya pear, a Champagne simulant, and a hit of agave.
And finally, in true Puffy Bois fashion, the Dawn Chorus (S$24++) is a cheeky way to have breakfast...with booze. This Old Fashioned-inspired creation is infused with cornflakes, balanced with housemade salted honey whey, chocolate bitters, and a salted butterscotch waffle on top.
Puffy Bois is open Thursdays through Mondays from 6pm to midnight – perfect for those late nights. The kitchen churns out delicious pizzas until 11:30pm. They currently have five pizzas available by the slice or whole pie, including classics like Margherita and Pepperoni alongside some more creative, rotating options.

The bar is open to everyone and walk-in only, though big groups are permitted to make bookings ahead to avoid disappointment.
