88 Bamboo is Asia's Freshest Drinks Companion! 🥃🍻🍷🍸🍾 We are an online editorial in Asia that aims to make drinks appreciation fun, accessible and enjoyable. Through breaking news, reviews, distillery deep dives, bar spotlights, and interviews, 88 Bamboo serves as a guide to the world of spirits, wine, beer and cocktails.

We're looking for Editorial Interns who are motivated self-starters and are excited by the prospect of helping to give voice to the Asian palate and bring light to the stories, people and flavours behind great drinks! You'll have the opportunity to learn about the ins and outs of digital media and publishing, while gaining insight into diverse and burgeoning craft spirits and drink scenes.

This is a remote position, and the Editorial Intern would be responsible for various day-to-day tasks such as:

• Writing engaging, on-brand content and copy in English for the 88 Bamboo website including news, SEO articles and online editorials.
• Researching news, trends and products for editorial content and pitch story ideas
• Attending ad hoc media events and tastings (depending on where the intern is based)
• Creating stories in text and/or multimedia formats, such as images and videos

What we're looking for?

• Excellent English writing skills with ability to work to tight deadlines. Knowledge of another Asian language a plus!
• If you drink ABV, you're already qualified - fresh or seasoned, we're looking for voices to spice up our editorial. That said, a strong curiosity and interest in learning about the world of wine, beer, spirits and cocktails will be helpful!
• A self starter who is keen to gain insight in a fast-paced, start up environment.
