Pour thin with a heavy mouth-feel that just coats your taste buds entirely with coffee, coffee grind and roasty malts. It's rather dense and ends on a complex note. Slightly creamy from mascarpone, like a classic tiramisu but with ladyfingers soaked in espresso and Kahlua liqueur for 48hrs. Again, this beer's for my dad.
His unfiltered review: "Like kopi kosong, maybe if I mix with a lager, it will be more refreshing." (proceeds to crack open a Tiger to mix them) "AH SO MUCH BETTER."
I judged him for it then he pitted my beer-honey mixing actions against me. "Why you can mix, I cannot mix??? You have to admit I have good taste, I drink more beer than you drink water ok."
Sigh. Uncle improvisation has won this time brutally despite the beer mixing taboo 🏳️
