All Free Beer and All Free Beer Collagen

Decided to rest the liver at the start of this week as there are some plans made for the coming weekend. 😁

Was introduced to this by @thepotatouncle but I must clarify it's not that he recommended it but he was asking if I've tried this; according to his words - abomination. 🤣

I've always admired Japanese perfection in many areas including beer making and this might be the only time I was disappointed.

This 'beer' is marketed as a zero calories, zero sugar and zero alcohol drink. If you didn't look this drink up, you might still think it's beer but based on some description that I saw where the fermentation process seems to be totally omitted and the list of 'interesting' ingredients, I think it's better called as a beer flavored drink.

So... To the taste test..... Both drinks poured with a beautiful clear golden body, feels fizzy but it's overall quite low carbonated. The taste was pretty flat, reminds me of Three Legs cooling water with a slight bitterness at the end.

The collagen drink in the pink can probably is trying to appeal to the ladies. It contains 2000mg collagen and this compound is known to improve your hair, skin and nails. Side note: collagen also helps the liver detox alcohol although this benefit probably is not as needed with this drink. Perhaps it could be a nice ingredient for craft beer? Just as I wrote this, I goggle it and surprised surprised Suntory has already done that for a full strength beer in 2017. 🤣

Anyway, I bought this at 3.35SGD (collagen one) and 3.20 (the other one) from Redmart (not that anyone should be interested)... Don't say I didn't warn you... 😉
