The Hemingway Daiquiri aka the Papa Doble
- 2oz Havana Club 3 Year
- .75oz fresh lime juice
- .5oz fresh grapefruit juice
- .5oz Luxardo Maraschino
Shake, strain into a coup, garnish with a Lime wheel
This drink was invented at El floridita in Cuba for Hemingway who liked his daiquiris with double the rum and no sugar. So basically rum and lime juice.
The bartender there, named Constantino Ribalaigua decided to add grapefruit and Luxardo to balance it out, and the drink was born.
