Lombard is an independent bottler that also seems to have made their own blends. One of the more interesting things is that they're located on the Isle of Man, an island in-between the UK and Ireland. They say they house their casks at distillery sites, only to move them to another location if the distillery closes. Bottling and blending is conducted in Scotland.

Nose: initially smoke, hints of wet old steamed lotus leaves, slightly coastal, oyster shells, at a distance its sweet flowers, light tree sap.

Palate: slightly sharp, initial palate is sharp, chemical, mid palate has spices build up, some chemical wood, salty, old smoked ham, hints of shellfish shells that have just been steamed, back palate is sweet, toasted almond bread, vanilla.

Finish: medium, sweet, glaze on doughnuts,
This one has elements of sweetness, salt, and some sort of chemically treated wood. The saltiness presents itself in a salted meats fashion as well as a shellfish type. Its heavy on texture and flavor. Giving it a higher grade than I should due to flavor diversity.

Grade: B
