Big foot. Not a clue on this product line from this IB.

Nose: sherry but with wood polish, the dark red fruits, raisins, figs are there, but there seems to be more alcohol presence which I am assuming is the polish/solvent element, young wine, tea?, burnt honey on char siu.

Palate: medium body, complex, dry, initial palate has vinegar elements, light citrus fruits, mid palate shows an increase in fruity sweetness with some sort of peat smoke (non-Islay) or burning vegetables in the back, cereal, showing evidence of that old wet steamed lotus leaves but not so full fledged, back palate has some heavy sherry, licorice, tobacco.

Finish: medium to long, strong oily sherry flavors coat the mouth, borderline herbal, light tea, light engine oil, light cough syrup, is there tumeric?, cloves?, licorice.

The strength and flavor variety is all there,  but it just didn't harmonize for me. The sherry was definitely an intense one, full of the heavier flavors, but it didn't seem to show much on the expected base of dark red fruit jam. Just not my style. Very surprising for a 4 year old.
