Notes - Urakasumi is brewed using local rice harvested in Miyagi as it is believed that Miyagi produces one of the best 🌾 in Japan. Urakasumi is also developed to match the local food culture which consists of largely of oysters and tuna that are freshly caught at the Matsushima Bay. This sake is light and airy in the mouth with complex aroma trying to compete and out burst with one another. Slight 🍊 peel bitterness which mellows out quickly into a sweet note.

Food pairing is highly recommended with fresh sashimi and raw oysters as the light tasting sake will compliment the sweetness of the seafood and enhance it to another level. With the complex aroma, it will also add another dimension to the dishes. Other dishes for pairing would be tomato caprese salad or cold cut platter consisting of cured meat. Food pairing is made easy with such an easy to drink and aromatic sake.

Overall, this is a good sake. 🦪 🦪 🍣 🍣
