Notes - Ohmine has always been able to entice me with their range of sakes. Brewed with Benten no Yusui, which is considered as one of the 100 best waters in 🇯🇵, this sake is smooth and gorgeous on the mouth with bitter sweet raw honey aftertaste. Aromatic notes of fresh fruits on the nose with complex structure. This sake should be ginjo grade but was not stated on the bottle despite displaying ginjo notes. It has also been awarded the silver winner of the IWC 2021. With the desire to deliver it fresh, this sake is brewed every month and only released on the 1st of each month and is also considered as an Ohmine classic.

Food pairing was with local tze char dishes such was Hei Zhor (🦐 rolls), Har Cheong Gai (🦐 paste 🍗) and pork trotter bee hoon. It pairs really well with the deep fried dishes as the sake washes away the greasy feeling and also mellows out the heavy flavor. This is a good sake for all levels of sake drinkers.

Overall, this is an excellent sake. 😃
