Loving the Clairin Vaval Batch Two, a white agricole rhum distilled in a continuous Creole still at the Arawaks distillery in the village of Cavaillon, Haiti.
On the nose you get the usual vegetal notes, and hawthorn berries often associated with agricole rhum. The palate is very fresh, almost gin-like with hints of juniper, sweet and full-bodied. The hawthorn and vegetal notes come back in middle, while the finish is dry, with slight spiciness, and notes of vanilla and anise.
