Indian spirits maker Rampur, has just unveiled a new Indian Dark Rum titled The Kohinoor Reserve, that will be available at Duty Free across the US, UK, EU and Asia over the rest of 2024.

The rum itself was made in small batches using fresh sugarcane juice, distilled during winter, it is then aged in ex-Indian Single Malt casks, American Oak Barrels, and subsequently ex-XO Cognac and ex-vermouth casks.

“Crafted with meticulous care and inspired by centuries of tradition, The Kohinoor Reserve Indian Dark Rum embodies the essence of luxury and refinement akin to world-renowned Kohinoor Diamond,” commented Sanjeev Banga, president of international business at Radico Khaitan, the parent company of Rampur Distillery.

The new expression is bottled at 43% ABV, and will retail at US$49.99 for a 700ml decanter.
