Maker's Mark Brings Back Cellar Aged For 2024

Remember when Maker's Mark's oldest ever release came out last year and caused an uproar? Well, they're keeping it coming with a Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2024 Release!

Whilst the 2023 Release was a blend of 11- and 12-year old Bourbons, the new 2024 Release is a blend of 15% 12-year and 85% 13-year old Bourbons. This was possible by Maker's Mark ageing its whisky barrels in a special limestone whiskey cellar that was build in late 2016, which offers a cooler climate that tempers down the oak influence.

“We surprised the world with the debut of Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged last year – a bold step in our family’s legacy because, for more than 65 years, ageing our whisky for a decade-plus wasn’t something we did,... Staying true to our founders’ flavour vision and our relentless pursuit of excellence, we’re thrilled to introduce our most mature Bourbon yet.” said Rob Samuels, the eighth-generation whisky maker for Maker's Mark.
