Glenglassaugh's New Core Range Sees First Age Statement Since Revival

Glenglassaugh which alongside its siblings Benriach and Glendronach form part of Brown Forman's Scotch portfolio, is back in business with a new core range that features a major milestone for the Scotch distiller that was only revived in 2008 - a 12 Year Old age statement as part of the core range.

The core range will include three expressions - a 12 Year Old, the Sandend and the Portsoy, all of which has been crafted to display the Scotch distiller's coastal style.

Glenglassaugh 12 Year Old

This historic age-statement expression has been matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and red wine casks, and is bottled at 45% ABV, and retails at RRP of 50 GBP.

Glenglassaugh Sandend

The Sandend expression is "inspired by the crescent beach of Sandend Bay where the distillery resides. Enriched in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks, over time the lush flavour of Glenglassaugh Sandend brightens into waves of tropical sweetness, infused with a crack of sea salt."
