Diving ever deeper into the Weller obsession, Buffalo Trace has unleashed - yes, unleashed! - two new wheated Weller whiskies: the Weller 18 Year Old and the second edition of Weller Millennium.

The second edition of the Weller Millennium is a new blend of vintage straight wheated bourbon and wheat whiskeys, with each component of the whiskey having been distilled at Buffalo Trace Distillery in 2001, 2003 and 2006. Buffalo Trace Distillery shared that the Weller Millennium #2 features a balance of dark cherry, rich butterscotch, and warm vanilla that reveals itself over layers of aged oak, and has a bold and enduring oak-forward finish. This expression is bottled at 99-proof in a 750ml hand-made crystal decanter, in an illuminated display case. It will be released in limited amounts through Sazerac's United States and global distributor networks that ship to retailers, bars, and restaurants from July 2025. The suggested retail price is US$7,500, with taxes varying by market. A limited amount will also be available for direct purchase at Buffalo Trace Distillery and the Sazerac-branded global platform Legacy de Forge.

The Weller 18 Year Old is the brand's oldest aged whiskey to date and is an ultra-aged whiskey bottled at 90-proof. Buffalo Trace Distillery's Master Distillery, Harlen Wheatley, shared in an announcement that "The softness of the wheat has evolved into something rich and wonderfully expressive. We are extremely proud of the resulting whiskey, which showcases the versatility and potential of a wheat-forward mashbill." This premium expression is bottled in a 700ml handcrafted crystal decanter. The Weller 18 Year Old expression will be available at Global Travel Retail airports such as Los Angeles International (LAX), John F. Kennedy International (JFK), and London Heathrow (LHR) from July 2025 onwards, and will be offered at a retail price of US$499. 

Both expressions are topped with a custom-made crystal topper with the original W.L. Weller "W" stamp of quality engraved on it.
