This release is a production of Tattarang Spring Distilling in Western Australia. A small batch gin, this is traditional London dry gin with a twist.
It definitely puts juniper and lavender at the front and centre. This gin’s nose is bright and absolutely aromatic with lavender. This lines up very well with the delicate citrus and pepper berry notes, leading to a crisp and dry finish. A very contemporary and modern twist to the London dry!
Allowing the flavours to come out in full expression through soda, I garnished with a dehydrated blood orange wheel as I like the fact that different dimensions of the gin come through.
