Travel Series So, a gin tour is not a typical experience for a family on travel but we did it, with all 3 in tow! We dropped by High Spirits Distillery and met Mike, the master blender. He proudly showcased his gins (and vodka!), explained meticulously how his gins are made from Tritacale grain with the addition of 12 botanicals to bring out the flavour profiles. The way he worked his stills were amazing! Of course we had a wee tipple.... and waltzed out with two bottles !!
