A little fun in the sun and a little colour to the day!
Enjoyed another one of Singapore’s - the butterfly pea gin from Brass Lion Distillery. Approximately 22 botanicals are featured in this one and what stands out are the torch ginger flower, kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, the mandarin orange peel and the additional lavender and butterfly pea. A very citrus forward gin, it has an overtly floral bouquet. You definitely taste the earthy tones from the butterfly pea. It finishes with dry piney notes balanced with some degree of sweetness coming from chamomile, I believe.
