Closer to an Irish dry than a milk/sewwt stout, I was drawn to this predominantly by the cool design, having never heard of the brewery before. The verdict is smooth, rich and robust but lacking in any particular flavour that would make it memorable. I'd still be curious to try an Imperial stout or one-off edition from the same brewers.
