Heaven Hill Dosed, Stout, Horus Aged Ales

Heaven Hill Dosed | Horus Aged Ales
Imperial Stout | ABV 14.0%

An imperial stout stuffed with chocolate, Geisha coffee, hazelnuts and vanilla, aged for 24 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels - just the sound of this, it's enough to make any desserty stout lover drool but hold up...this is not as sweet/indulgent as you expect!

Roasted nutty hazelnut aromas; woody and earthy yet sweet, smells like a festive stout that will definitely warm you up while sitting in front of the fireplace. Boozie brownie I'd describe this, but definitely not fudgey. Kind of buttery and oily, very smooth.

As it warms up, you get more bourbon (in my opinion), lil spice sprinkle blend of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and star anise (not too much to become too herbal). Balinese hot stone massage and sauna vibes for this one.

A sipping stout, so that you can dissect the adjuncts & enjoy, not very crushable for drinkers who haven't fallen down the rabbit hole of BA or imperial stouts. Great for stout lovers who don't want a sweet stout but still want to enjoy the barrel aged ales from Horus (🔥💥🥰🤝🏼🫶🏻).

Big fan here!!!
