Whale; Blessed to have this twice in 1.5 years of craft beers. This time, it was not anywhere as bitter as I remembered it to be on my first try. I may be more accustomed to bitterness but who knows. Two things did not change though: Heady topper is undoubtedly still jam-packed with hoppy resins and has to be one of the cleanest feeling and tasting beers ever. The initial bitterness clears the path for a subtle sweetness and finishing is lasting and bitter. One of the few beers that lived up to its hype imo. Hops, dank and piney.
Kept this one for a little longer than I normally would but today felt like the right day. Had it with some bussin' company, steak, smashed potatoes and brussel sprouts.
