Really interesting take on an imperial stout - almost entirely unique in fact. At 8.5% it certainly has the warmth and kick you'd expect from an imperial as well as a deep sweet malty aroma reminiscent of molasses. Likewise, the mouthfeel has the thick smoothness characteristic of the genre. What stands out however is the aftertaste and the citrus-berry tang of Christmas pudding that beautifully complemetns the body of the beer.
