I have the exact date that I first tried this beer: 11 June 2012 in Delirium Cafe, Brussels (thanks, Google Photos!). It was years before it became readily available in Singapore, but it was definitely worth the wait: this is the definitive American craft porter for me; perhaps more so than Anchor Porter.
Founders Porter has got it all: roasty, smokey, malty and hoppy notes in wonderful balance. It finishes dry too, so you can have more than two!
I buy these in six packs, so I think I’ll do just that…!
