The last of the islander brew series. Decided to tried this one last as I would in the order if drinking all 4 of them in one single session.
I feel that with porters and other darker ales, the taste is usually really intense and it's difficult to cleanse the palate and try it from ground zero again. Opened with very likeable chocolatety and vanilla aroma which was very fast nullified from the cocoa and coffee taste.

I think pairing it with some sweet chocolate actually helped abit with the palate cleansing. It made the porter more enjoyable by alternating between the chocolate and the beer.
