Double Baked, Barleywine, Tree House Brewing Company

Wow, I don't even know where to begin here. Gonna take my time to taste this as it warms. Surprisingly carbonated from the get-go. Nose has notes of coca cola gummies and candies, cloves, tons of spices, and subtle sweet fruity apples. On the tongue, really full bodied without being too oily or syrupy. Mildly sweet with some muted saltiness, with notes of caramel, toffee and just a tad bit of fruits. As it warms, spice notes start to appear as well. Really really complex and there is more to the taste that I can't decipher. Carbonation doesn't really come through as it sits, which i prefer, and finishes in a lingering coca cola candy. Real complex, slow sipper for the night.
