Bridge Road Brewers Nitro Mountain Lager x Augie March - Victoria's Secrets

The next album comes from a band hailing from Shepparton in Country Victoria (which is not far one from our original stomping grounds). The leading track from this album “One Crowded Hour” was voted as the most popular track of the @triple_j #hottest100 of 2006.

The band is @augiemarchmusic and the album is their third release “Moo, You Bloody Choir”. The title of the album comes from the lyrics of the song “The Honey Month”, and the album is perfect blend of pop rock, folk music and brilliant, poetic song writing from Glenn Richards.

The album peaked at Number 10 in the @aria_official charts and was voted at Number 93 on the @triple_j #hottest100 100 Best Australian albums.

So vivid is the story telling, the imagery created in our minds is amazing and is really like reading a book. Richards has said that he prefers to draw on everyday experiences in his songwriting; and would rather write music that rung true. The song writing feels really personal and it makes for a great listening experience.

Now for the beer, this brew isn’t available just yet but is a seasonal autumn / winter staple of @bridgeroadbrewers; so it can’t be too far away. The Beer is the Nitro Mountain Lager, which is an Amber Vienna Lager.

The use of Mosaic, Galaxy, Simcoe Hops and Gladfield Ale, Melanoidin, CaraRed, Acidulated, Shepard's Delight Malts is amazing enough, but then add in nitro and you have an absolutely amazing beer. Our advice is keep an eye out for it, and as soon as its available get onto it ASAP. 😊
