Sipping during food Bowmore - 15 year old, Matured first in bourbon barrels then Oloroso cask, ABV - 43%

Nose. Smokey, light medicinal, some floral sweetness which may come from the sherry.

Palate. Sweet first, with light medical peat following

Finish. Smokey comes back gently, lingering around your mouth, short to medium finish for me.

Had the Laga after food, Lagavulin 16 year old, Matured in ex-bourbon and sherry cask, ABV - 43%, Bottled 2010

Nose. stronger medicinal smell , lighter smoky for me

Palate. spicy first, warm throat, and a blooming feel after swallowing

Finish. lingering mild cough mixture like sweetness medium finish
