Tasted next to the Nada Rombone 2013.
The Montaribaldi in contrast is darker in all senses of the word, with a stronger licorice note on the nose although the nose was a bit more reticent. On the palate, black fruit, black cherry, sweet licorice, some sweetness, a more masculine style, more full bodied in the mid palate, but after it opened up we got quite a well rounded black fruit and licorice combination with a full bodied mid palate which was quite nice.
