This is definitely a modern style Barolo, probably with quite a lot of oak. A nose brown sugar, licorice, banana, tropical fruit. On the palate, black fruit, licorice sweetness, dried fruits, dried dates, licorice, a full bodied mid palate, dried sweetness.
91/100.
Can tell it’s a modern style with more oak but I actually prefer the traditional austere style.
