The Arran Malt 20, Limited Edition, Single Cask Selected for whisk-e ltd. Sherry Puncheon Cask 1320, bottle 430/593, 54.2%

Nose: fruity, purple plums, doesn't quite smell like a 54.2% abv dram, maybe a 45-50%.

Palate: earthy, tobacco, dried lotus leaves, bitter tofu, some sour wood after several sips.

Finish: short to moderate, nothing really going on, but the abv extends the sting.

Dry glass: wood and young tofu.

This was bottled August 8, 2017 and I had it 4 months later. Maybe it's me, but the high abv wasn't working for me tonight. Reminds me of a typical Campbeltown malt, more along the lines of Hazelburn though, which is not my preference. Forgettable.
