Exclusive Whisky Journey 2024 Whisky

Whisky Journey 2024 is presenting a strong lineup of rare and exclusive whiskies this year. Here are the highlights of the exclusive whiskies to taste!

1. Whisky Journey Special Edition Single Malt

In collaboration with Sing Sing Whisky, Whisky Journey would be releasing a special commemorative edition "Whisky Journey: Sing Sing Whisky Super Trees Single Malt" that is distilled at Sing Sing Whisky's boutique Taiwanese distillery. This is bottled at 46% ABV and limited to only 50 bottles.

2. Springbank 30 Year Old

Cult distillery Springbank is making a reappearance this year at Whisky Journey, and a rare bottle of Springbank 30 would also be featured at the event. One bottle would be made available for tasting over a two-day period, with four bottles available for purchase by ballot.

This rare release is matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV.

3. Johnnie Walker Blue Label 2025 Chinese New Year Limited Edition

Johnnie Walker Blue Label would showcase its 2025 Lunar New Year limited edition blended Scotch which commemorates the Year of the Snake.

This expression blends Johnnie Walker's renowned blending expertise with the craftsmanship of artist James Jean who designed the bottle packaging which is adorned with intricate serpent motifs.

4. Glenglassaugh 42 Year Old 1975 – Stuart Nickerson x Signature Reserve Bottling

Glenglassaugh Distilley has collaborated with premium whisky bar Signature Reserve to bottle a 42-year-old Glenglassaugh Single Malt Stuart Nickerson x Signature Reserve bottling.

This bottling is a tribute to Stuart Nickerson, a former managing director instrumental to the revival of Glenglassaugh Distilley. Bottled at 41.2% ABV with 304 bottles available worldwide, they are drawn from Nickerson's private collection. This whisky is part of Quaich Bar's exclusive bottlings and would be featured at a designated Quaich Bar booth during Whisky Journey 2024 along with other Quaich Bar releases.

5.  Lochlea 'Our Barley' Whisky

One of Scotland's more intriguing new craft distilleries is Lochlea, a family owned operation in Ayrshire, Scotland which focuses expressing local terroir with a farm-to-bottle approach by distilling whisky made from their own barley grown on-site on the family farm. This allows the distillery to control every aspect of the whisky-making process, from grain to glass - a rare claim in the modern Scotch whisky industry.

The flagship Lochlea ‘Our Barley’ (46% ABV) expression alongside seasonal limited editions are crafted by Production Director John Campbell. They are non-chill filtered with no added coloring and matured in a mix of first-fill Bourbon, Oloroso Sherry, and STR casks, and they're described to deliver a whisky of remarkable depth and complexity.

Whisky Journey 2024 marks Lochlea's inaugural launch in Singapore, offering whisky lovers here a chance to experience Lochlea’s single malts for the first time.
