South Korean Fried Chicken & Beer Specialist DAILY BEER Doubles Down on Singapore with New CHIJMES Location

DAILY BEER, South Korea's reigning champion of "chimaek" – that glorious Korean pairing of fried chicken, beer and sometimes soju – is expanding its Singaporean footprint with a second outlet.

With over 370 outlets across South Korea, DAILY BEER is South Korea's leading chimaek specialist. And Singapore as its first international outpost.

Now, they're bringing their winning formula to a second location in the heart of the city: CHIJMES. Nestled amongst the historic buildings and charming courtyards, DAILY BEER CHIJMES promises a unique blend of Korean flavours and top-notch craft brews.

This new spot boasts an impressive selection of exclusive craft beers with laid-back vibes and a focus on lifestyle and leisure – a slightly different atmosphere compared to their bustling Telok Ayer outlet. With 52 seats and plenty of alfresco dining options, it's the perfect setting to unwind with friends and family, or even host private events.

Two new brews are making their debut exclusively at CHIJMES.

The Gijang Sour Weiss, an award-winning beer hailing from Busan, is a dry-hopped sour ale bursting with tart, lemony, and fruity flavours, all while maintaining a robust hop character. Apparently, the acidity of this particular brew pairs exceptionally well with their spicy Angry Bird Red fried chicken.

For those who prefer a more tropical experience, the Modern IPA, with its notes of passionfruit, pineapple, citrus, and pine needles, sounds like an ideal choice for Singapore's tropical climate.

DAILY BEER CHIJMES would also offer a selection of craft beers designed to complement their delicious menu, including the Chijmes Hazy IPA, made with Galaxy, Motueka, Citra, and Mosaic hops, and for those who prefer a classic Pale Ale, their Chijmes Pale Ale, featuring Chinook, Idaho, and Simcoe hops, is apparently the perfect match for both chicken and tteokbokki. Beer flights would also be available for folks looking to sample a variety of their craft beers.

Of course, no visit to DAILY BEER would be complete without indulging in their famous fried chicken. Freshly hand-battered and fried to perfection, the Angry Bird fried chicken comes in a variety of flavours: Original Angry Bird for the purists, Angry Bird Red with a fiery kick, Angry Bird Black with a savoury garlic soy sauce, and Angry Bird Crunch coated in a sweet and spicy corn flake crust.

With prices ranging from $28++ to $34++ for different portions, there's something to suit every appetite. And if you fancy something other than chicken, their menu also features tempting options like Daily Buddae Tteokbokki, Premium Fish Cake Soup, Grilled Dried Pollack, and Original French Fries. For those seeking a lighter bite, the Cajun Chicken Salad, with its mix of greens, fried chicken, and creamy dressing, seems like a refreshing choice.

To celebrate their grand opening, DAILY BEER CHIJMES is offering a 1-for-1 craft beer promotion with any food order till the end of October 2024. This offer is available Monday through Friday until 8pm each day, so gather your mates and head down to CHIJMES for a taste of Korea's finest chimaek!
