If you're looking to explore some renowned Portuguese wines, you'll want to pencil this in for the 9th of May. Renowned Port houses Niepoort and Quinta do Vesuvio are joining forces with HEVEL, that swish contemporary European spot on Keong Saik Road, for a one-night-only wine dinner.

Niepoort needs no introduction for wine buffs. Established 1842, the winery is known for their Ports but are always pushing boundaries with new styles. Quinta do Vesuvio is another titan of the Port world, famed for its seriously impressively rich and complex vintage pours made from their historic vineyards in the Douro Valley.

HEVEL is a contemporary European restaurant run by Chef and Co-owner Stefan Liau recently opened in January 2024 located at 1 Keong Saik Road, with a beverage program that champions small producers, unusual bottles, and a whole lot of fortified love, so this collab makes perfect sense.

The six-course menu on 9 May promises goodies like Mussels with Chorizo and brioche – paired with Niepoort Redoma Reserva 2021. Plus, there's a Veal Neck with Sweet Potato and Mascarpone set to marry up beautifully with a Double Magnum of Niepoort Redoma 2007. 

Seats for this wine dinner are priced at S$228++.
