Notes - The name Zaku was chosen to convey the notion that the true value of 🍶 is to be created together with the customer and not merely in the product that the brewery made. While respecting the traditions of 🍶 brewing, Zaku wants to evolve with the ever changing times and with the diversity of people’s values, thoughts and tastes.
The “Impression” series was born out of a painstaking process of trial and error, to try and find a way to make a pasteurised 🍶 which reproduces the characteristic aromas and flavors of a freshly pressed namazake. The letter in the name of the “Impression” series comes from the name of its base 🍶 in the Zaku range. Impression G stands for “Gen no Tomo.” The bottle opens with a pop and some gases trying to rush out. Rounded and full in the mouth with lots of zesty 🍊 and grapefruit aroma. Clean and yet with a medium texture that makes it very well balanced. A medium acidity with some astringency can be felt as it slides down the throat and leaving behind a slight bitterness that lingers for awhile.
Zaku has long been a good 🍶 for most beginners as it has the usual fruity and flowery aroma with a medium sweet taste. They are also an expert in using Mie Prefecture Yamadanishiki 🌾 to produce their top range of 🍶 which included the Ittekisui and Ise no Hana series. Best of all, they tend to be nicely priced and is a 🍶 easily enjoyable by many. 🤪🤪🤪
