Notes - Limited release of 1000 bottles, this is a collaboration between Pharrell Williams and Nigo. 3 different types of pressing are available which include, light press, middle press and heavy press. This bottle is the middle press version made with 100% Omachi 🌾. Omachi 🌾 has long been considered as the grandfather of sake brewing 🌾 and has been around since 1859. This 🍶 is light and airy in the mouth that resembles eating cotton candy but with a subtle taste of grapefruit. Medium sweet on the tip of the tongue but slowly dissolving into a slight sour note as it enters the back of the throat but finishing off with a smooth aftertaste of 🍓.

I will try pairing this 🍶 with charcoal grilled white fish as the complexity from the Omachi 🌾 will go very well with the smokiness from the grilled fish. I will also try to pair it with Japanese Kaki Nabe (🦪 🍲) as the umami laden 🦪 will help add additional umaminess to the 🍶 which I think the 🍶 could use some of it. Highly suggested to drink chilled using a wine glass at around 12-14C to capture the best aroma profile.

This is a good 🍶 to try if you haven’t tasted it yet. A little pricey but well it is Pharrell Williams after all and you also get to keep the nice design bottle for remembrance sake. 🥂 🥂 🥂
