There are some sakes that find their way back to you. First had this at @sakefestivalsg and I didnt buy it as I thought it would be easily accessible.
Fast forward a couple of months later, I chanced upon this at @omunomu.sg without realising it was the same sake. (I had a good amount at sake festival 🫣)
This is also probably one of my top picks.
Aromas remind me of steamed rice, melon. Taste wise, ricey umami flavors with some sweet and sour notes and a nice acidic, off-dry finish. It also had a lot of depth, while still being a rather simple sake.
Definitely agree that it tastes like a Japanese souffle cheesecake🧀, not heavy, nice, fluffy and gentle.
This is one sake I’d love coming back to again and again… 😋
