Springbank Release Two 10 Year Olds, Fino Cask & Local Barley From New Clochkiel Farm

Campbeltown's Springbank Distillery appears to have two very exciting 10 Year Old's that will be out shortly - the Springbank 10 Year Old Fino Cask from the Sherry series, and a Springbank 10 Year Old Local Barley, although this time the barley's coming from the Clochkiel Farm which appears to be a first for the Local Barley series.
Let's dive right in!
Springbank 10 Year Old Fino Cask, 55% ABV

First up we have the Springbank 10 Year Old Fino Cask which comes from Springbank's Sherry series.

The Sherry series has been long stated to be a five part exploration of various styles of Sherry, with each Springbank expression focused on one style of Sherry and to be released on an annual schedule.
As we see from the schedule, we're fast approaching the end of the series, with just the 10 Year Old Manzanilla left for what looks to be 2026!
According to the label, we're told that "This Springbank Single Malt Whisky has been matured for four years in refill bourbon hogsheads followed by six years in fresh Fino hogsheads made from American oak."
It was distilled in July of 2015, and bottled in October of 2025, with 11,400 bottles produced, and bottled at 55% ABV.

Next up we have the ever loved Springbank Local Barley 10 Year Old, but hold up! This time it appears that there's a change in where Springbank's getting its barley from! On the back label, we're told that the Bere Barley comes from Clochkiel Farm!
The Clockiel Farm is a family-owned farm that not only farms barley but also dairy, and is run by the Barr family.

"This Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been distilled from barley grown on the Kintyre Peninsula within a few miles of Springbank. The barley is then malted on our own malt floors using traditional production techniques before it is turned into spirit, matured into whisky and bottled on-site, making this a 100% Campbeltown Single Malt."
The 10 Year Old Springbank Local Barley from Clochkiel Farm was distilled in July of 2015, and is bottled in October of 2025, with a total of 8,000 bottles to be released, bottled at 55.2% ABV.
