Springbank Readies Second Release In Vintage Series With 31 Year Old 1994 Vintage

In 2025, Springbank definitely made a splash when it debuted a new Vintage Series, the goal of which was to showcase some of the distillery's oldest whiskies with an annual release, each donning the vintage of its distillation.
Beyond the fact that some well-aged Springbank's were about to be released, there wasn't anything particularly unusual to be had, yet nevertheless there was much anticipation to be had - that's the Springbank effect for you!
We even managed to snag a taste of the debut Springbank 1998 Vintage Series release - read the review here!
TLDR; we actually thought it really charming in an old school kind of way. It had a nice, aged Sherry quality to it, which made it come through really refined and polished.

And so it seems we're back with the second release from Springbank's Vintage Series, this time featuring the 1994 Vintage! This is set to be a 31 Year Old single malt from Springbank, distilled in 1994, bottled in 2026, at 45.1% ABV, with just 1,180 bottles to be released.

This Single Malt Whisky has been bottled as part of the Springbank Vintage series, a collection of limited annual releases launched in 2025 to showcase some of our oldest whiskies.
Each release in the Vintage series has enjoyed a generous maturation period, demonstrating the impact of time on our spirit and presenting the familiar character of older Springbank with the influence of a range of high quality casks.
One more to keep a look out for!
