What happens when one of Australia’s most iconic wines meets pop star Troye Sivan? Penfolds just revealed the answer at Paris Fashion Week.

Penfolds has just unveiled the Bin 389 Designed by Troye Sivan, with the Paris launch marking the first installment in Penfolds new multi-year partnership with Troye Sivan as Creative Partner - a collaboration said to unite wine, design, and culture in a modern expression of Penfolds' creative direction.

The limited-edition expressions was presented in both a 750ml and a 1.5L magnum art piece, both showcasing wine from the 2023 vintage.

The magnum edition, handcrafted by South Korean artist Rahee Yoon, is limited to just 20 pieces, available by expression of interest only. 

The launch event was held at Quartier Général in the 11th Arrondissement, with a  guest list featuring a high-profile assembly of Sivan’s creative circle, including Lila Moss, Fai Khadra, Gabbriette, and Ludovic de Saint Sernin.

Upon arrival, attendees gathered in a welcome cocktail area under a large-scale cascading installation of photographs from Troye’s person camera roll, before being seated for dinner in the main dining space.

Australian-born chef James Henry, of acclaimed French restaurant Le Doyenné, prepared a menu showcasing seasonal French ingredients paired with Penfolds best-known wines.

Highlights included Roscoff onion tart with wild mushrooms paired with Penfolds
Yattarna Chardonnay 2023; and Kriaxera duck with preserved redcurrants and scorzonera, served alongside the hero wine of the event, Bin 389 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz, poured side-by-side from the 2010 and 2023 vintages.

Bin 389 Designed by Troye Sivan is available globally from March 2026 via luxury retail, global travel and direct-to-consumer channels, with further collaborations between Penfolds and Troye Sivan to be announced throughout 2026.
