One More Reason To Go To Japan As Everyone's Favourite Bruichladdich Now In Canned Highballs
Everyone loves Bruichladdich with its iconic baby blue look but just when you thought it couldn't get more exciting, here's one more reason for you to head to Japan because Bruichladdich and local convenience store Lawson is launching a canned Laddie Highball!
From 23rd September 2025, Lawson retailers (which are all over Japan, with over 14,600 stores) will now offer Bruichladdich and Soda in a canned highball format.
This was born from a collaboration between Scottish Islay's Bruichladdich Distillery and the BS Fuji TV program Whiskipedia, where the non-peated Classic Laddie single malt is made into a special highball blend developed exclusively for Japan.

Bruichladdich's Master Blender Adam Hannett had this to say, "The Classic Laddie, which forms the base of this highball, is our house style and expresses a wonderful flavor. We would like single malt lovers to experience this highball. We also hope that this collaboration will be an opportunity for people who are unfamiliar with Bruichladdich to have a new encounter with it."
It is priced at 600 Yen (US$4.05) and comes in at 8% ABV for a 350ml can.
