Olive Oil Brand Graza Unveils Pinot Meunier in Collaboration with Limited Edition Wine

Popular olive oil brand Graza has launched a new Pinot Meunier Wine, in collaboration with Oregon’s Limited Edition wine company and natural wine store MYSA.  Titled "Nice Wine", this expression is made from Pinot Meunier, an Oregon champagne grape that is rarely used for table wine.

A 2014 vintage from Oregon's very own Willamette Valley, the expression is said to have notes of red berries, rooibos spices, cinnamon, and most curiously, 'A Warm Hug'.

The brand has said the wine goes particularly well with festive fare like chicken or turkey, or charcuterie plates, and 'anything tomato-based'. It has been touted to have a medium body and is recommended to be served chilled.

Graza co-founder and CEO Andrew Beninas commented that the brand had no aspirations to make the wine a year-round product, and that it was a project "for fun".

“It’s the holidays, we’re drinking it at the office, we’re gifting it to our friend, our families. It’s just a fun thing,” he said.

Graza has included the expression in a “Nice Wine” Pinot Meunier holiday set, which also features the brand’s iconic Sizzle and Drizzle bottles of olive oil, potato chips and a custom corkscrew.

The wines can be purchased from MYSA's online store in sets of 3, 6 or 12 for USD$78, USD$149 and USD$285 respectively.
