Martinique's Trois Rivieres Releases Confluences With Oldest Rum Dating Back To 1977

So named after the three rivers that join at the mouth of the Saint Maurice River, Martinique's beloved Trois Rivieres is releasing a new cuvee, the Trois Rivieres Confluences, which will be a blend of agricole rhums from the vintages 1977, 2000 and 2001, demonstrating precise blending work that can achieve great complexity.
According to Excellence Rhum, "At the tasting, this rum reveals a lively attack, quickly enveloped by woody notes evoking precious wood and cigars. The evolution on the palate reveals fruity nuances of candied citrus, prolonged by a finish with accents of gingerbread. The balance between intensity and finesse makes it a spirit intended for tasting, revealing all the richness of Martinique's know-how."
Just 500 bottles of the Trois Rivieres Confluences will be released, bottled at 44% ABV.
