Martell Unveils Limited Edition 60 Year Old Cognac In Honour Of Singapore's 60th Birthday

Paying homage to a relationship between Martell and the Lion City spanning 150 years, the esteemed Cognac house has unveiled a once-in-a-generation collectible: a limited-edition cognac crafted exclusively to commemorate Singapore’s 60th National Day.

Only 12 bottles are set to exist, marking the release as one of the most exclusive in the history of the oldest of the Great Cognac Houses.

The exclusive liquid will be housed in a bespoke Baccarat crystal decanter, the design of which draws inspiration from Singapore's national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, symbolizing resilience and grace. This delicate motif is then entwined with vines and grapes, evocative of Cognac's sun-drenched vineyards.

Each bottle is nestled within a handcrafted case made from refined oak wood, further enhanced with an engraved gold-colored metal, reflecting both Singapore's modern elegance and the artistry of Maison Martell.

Within is Martell's signature eaux-de-vie aged for at least 60 years in fine-grained oak barrels, embodying Martell’s visionary spirit while celebrating Singapore’s
journey from colonial port to global powerhouse.

Martell's connection with Singapore dates back to 1871, when its first shipment reached the island's shores. Since then, the cognac has become an integral part of the nation's lifestyle culture, gracing Lunar New Year celebrations, featured in Singapore's vibrant nightlife, and shared among influential figures like statesmen, artists, and visionaries.

This release will be available to members of Le Cercle by Pernod Ricard, the Private
Client society of Martell’s parent company.
