Live Twice Unveils Latest Signature Cocktail Menu Featuring Hibiki & Bowmore Mizuwari, The Revival Of American Classics Jack Rose & Golden Cadillac With Also Geisha Themed Cocktails

Acclaimed bar Live Twice, has officially unveiled its latest signature cocktail menu and the first revamp since the bar's inception.

Guided by the Japanese spirit of craftsmanship and the mystique of Ian Fleming's You Only Live Twice—the only Bond story set in Asia—the bar retains its distinct two-part cocktail list, with each half presented as its own cinematic story and available to explore in both a softcover book and an interactive digital flipbook.

The new menu is crafted by Live Twice Principal Bartender Luca Lulli and his team with guidance from Jigger & Pony Group’s Beverage Programme Director Aki Eguchi.

The new list comes in two parts: One Life for Yourself… and …And One for Your Dreams.

The first section, "One Life for Yourself..."  include classic cocktails that are said to prioritise clarity and balanced flavors, with each drink honors tradition while offering a modern twist.

The Mizuwari (Left) and Golden Cadillac (Right).

A Live Twice signature since 2019, the Mizuwari returns as a trinity of whiskies:
Hibiki Harmony Blended, Chita Single Grain, and the smoky depth of Bowmore 15 YO Single Malt Scotch. Together with soft water from Hokkaido, all ingredients mature in a traditional ceramic tsubo urn for at least three days. It is said to be subtle and layered as well as refined and ceremonial.

A beloved classic popularised in Prohibition-era America, the Jack Rose is a marriage of Remy Martin 1738 Accord Royal Cognac, Calvados and Dolin Dry Vermouth. Balanced with housemade grenadine and fresh lime, softly spiced fruity notes are set to imbue each sip.

The Golden Cadillac is Live Twice's take on another 1950s classic. It blends the aged richness of Ron Zacapa 23 Rum with vanilla-spiced Galliano L'Autentico and crème de cacao. Shaken with whipped cream, it becomes a light, smooth, and decadent dessert cocktail.

On the other hand,  "…And One for Your Dreams" is inspired by geishas, with cocktails that blend traditional Japanese artistry with a modern edge.

The Sunbeam 照 (left) and Moonlit Dance 月影 (right).

Sunbeam 照 is bright and refreshing, with Don Julio Reposado Tequila unfurling with fruity notes of banana and mellow umeshu, cut with the salty-sour edge of umeboshi. A gentle spritz of soda lifts the flavours.

In contrast, Moonlit Dance 月影 is gentle with quiet intensity. Sobacha-infused Monkey Shoulder Whisky forms the backbone, layered with soft notes of strawberry and the bittersweetness of vermouth and absinthe.

At the core of the food menu are Live Twice's beloved sandos, featuring the indulgent Wagyu Katsu Sando and the light, fluffy Tamago Katsu Sando. A standout is the signature Live Twice Seafood Platter, perfect for sharing.

Rounding out the menu are equally delicious dishes designed to compliment the cocktail lineup, starting with the Potato & Leek Croquettes, filled with a trio of cheeses and wrapped in a crispy panko crust.

For a unique sweet ending, the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée is served inside a roasted baby kabocha pumpkin. This innovative dessert features layers of pumpkin miso and butterscotch beneath a spiced vanilla custard, all served with a side of vanilla bean ice cream.

Designed to evoke an intimate, mid-century Japanese home, Live Twice offers both curated drinks and an elevated food menu of yōshoku dishes—a Western-influenced Japanese style of cooking that emerged during the Meiji era. With vintage fittings like original Sigurd Resell Falcon Chairs and an Isamu Noguchi Akari Light Sculpture, the moody, film noir-inspired interiors set the stage for cocktails that are a harmonious blend of balanced flavors.
