To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Islay's Kilchoman Distillery has launched a prize draw for a special single malt bottling from its soon to be 20 Year Old Cask No. 1.

Tickets for the prize draw are now available on the distillery's website, with the draw closing in December once the cask has aged for 20 years.

The bottle will be drawn directly from Cask No. 1, the first cask filled at the distillery on December 14, 2005. This expression follows the release of four limited edition vattings earlier this year as part of its 20th Anniversary Cask Series.

The bottle comes in a case that honors the process in which it was made. Its lid has layered textures that symbolize the distillery’s growth over the years while the box itself was crafted using five different production techniques and features paper sourced from another family company, GF Smith.

The glass bottle is engraved on Islay with the distillery's skyline, and the owner will also receive a handwritten from distillery founder Anthony Wills.

Established in 2005 by Wills, Kilchoman Distillery is considered the first of the new wave of Scotch distilleries founded in the early 2000s.
