Kilchoman Adds 11 Year Old Rockside To Core Range, Distillery's First Flagship Age Statement Whisky

Kilchoman Distillery has introduced its first age-statement core expression: Rockside, a lightly peated 11-year-old Islay single malt.
While Kilchoman’s signature expressions Machir Bay and Sanaig are peated to 50 ppm, Rockside features a lighter phenol level of 20 ppm. This lower concentration intentionally lets the distillery’s more subtle spirit characteristics shine through.
Matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV, this 11-year-old single malt delivers a beautifully layered palate.
It is said to have nuances of gentle smoke and vibrant tropical fruit, followed by undertones of toffee apple, salted caramel, sweet citrus, walnuts, and a blend of mixed spices.
Kilchoman Rockside 11-year-old will be rolled out first in the UK and across Europe, with international markets to follow, all with a MSRP of £55 (US$73).
