Drawing inspiration from the brand’s late-19th-century decanters once found in Yellowstone-area saloons, Kentucky’s Yellowstone Bourbon giving its Recollection Bourbon a wider release across the U.S.

Originally a distillery-exclusive release from Limestone Branch, this historic tribute will now be available at select liquor retailers across the United States.

The bottle design is based on the brand’s earliest bar back bottles that were hand-painted, with the label featuring the Lower Falls of Yellowstone Park. 

Aged for eight years and non chill-filtered, the Yellowstone Recollection Bourbon’s profile is said to open with classic Kentucky Bourbon notes of vanilla crème brûlée and dark cherry on the nose, which are then followed by flavours of caramel, butterscotch, and hints of charred oak on the palate.

Its finish promises grain and mocha alongside the brand’s distinctive cherry character and warm spice, including sweet cinnamon candy.

Bottled at 55% ABV, each 700ml bottle has an MSRP of US$69.99.
