
Following the successful launch of Johnnie Walker Black Ruby last year, the brand has introduced a new ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail in Australia, combining Johnnie Walker Black Ruby and soda to create a veritable blackberry cocktail in a can.
The Johnnie Walker Black Ruby Blackberry & Soda follows Johnnie Walker Black Ruby's successful pilot in Australia and global travel retail, where it has been rolling out to markets worldwide since March 2025.
This sparkling whisky spritz, described more as a twist on a classic Tom Collins, features blackberry and elderflower flavors and was launched exclusively at Dan Murphy’s and BWS in late August 2025.
It is said to reflect Johnnie Walker’s commitment to local tastes and occasions.
Diageo Australia held the official Johnnie Walker Black Ruby Blackberry & Soda launch event at Chin Chin in Sydney on 21 August. Among an awards ceremony and other festivities, the event brought together creators, media, artists, and cultural tastemakers, including influencer Riley Hemson, model Amy Pejkovic, TV personalities Austen Bugeja, Claudia Bonifazio, and Paul Versace, chef Khanh Ong, and former soccer player Lachy McLean.

At 6% ABV per 375ml can, each cocktail retails for AUS$10 (US$6.50), with packs of four for AUS$34 (US$22).
