Hibiki Harmony 2026 Chiso Collaboration Pays Tribute To 1555 Founded Kyoto Kimono House

Hibiki's latest 2026 limited edition release of its flagship Japanese Harmony expression has taken on inspiration from Chiso, one of Kyoto's oldest and most esteemed kimono houses founded in 1555.

Suntory's Hibiki has long paid tribute to many of Japan's artists, having only recently collaborated with the likes of Eriko Horiki and Hiroshi Senju. As such, the collaboration with kimono house Chiso once again weaves together two emblems of Japanese craftsmanship, which has thus taken on the form of a bespoke floral design that draws inspiration from Japan's changing seasons.

With its 24-faceted decanter which represents Japan's traditional calendar of the 24 micro-seasons, the new collaboration sees Chiso reimagining its design, and in particular highlighting the kimono house's long cherished art of yuzen silk dyeing. The resulting design is therefore decorated with vibrant jewel-toned floral motifs that includes the tachibana evergreen citrus which symbolises enduring prosperity, the kiri paulownia which is said to depict good fortune and nobility, with then the classic sakura cherry blossoms celebrating renewal and the splendour of the seasons, as well as also featuring the ume plum blossom and tsubaki camellia each embodying longevity and timeless vitality. As such, the limited edition Hibiki Japanese Harmony 2026 Chiso Collaboration decanter is thus embellished with tones of rich gold, crimson, emerald, indigo and soft blush accents that blends together the shared pursuit of Japanese craftsmanship that has been carried on by both houses across generations.
