Glenmorangie's Harrison Ford Edition Unveiled With Toasted Portuguese Red Wine Cask Finish

Glenmorangie Distillery has collaborated with Indiana Jones actor Harrison Ford for a limited edition single malt release: The Glenmorangie Harrison Ford
The new expression was crafted in as part of an ongoing partnership, and taps into the mind of The Glenmorangie Company’s director of whisky creation, Dr Bill Lumsden MBE, who tailored the expression to the actor’s personal whisky preferences.
Since partnering with the distillery in January last year, Ford has headlined the Once Upon a Time in Scotland campaign. This collaboration has already yielded the launch of Glenmorangie The Altus and featured Ford in a series of festive engagements.

The new release combines the distillery’s classic Bourbon cask-aged whisky with a toasted Portuguese red wine cask finish.
The brand has said the expression should offer aromas of tangy, zesty citrus fruits, orange breakfast marmalade, honeysuckle, jasmine, beeswax, peach blossom, and vanilla. On the palate, it is said to boast notes of Seville orange, lemon, grapefruit, baked bread, apricot, muscovado sugar, and butter candy.
To support the launch, Glenmorangie collaborated with artist Julien Rico to create a Hollywood-style movie poster, drawing on Ford’s cinematic legacy.
Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition is now available on the distillery’s website and visitor centre in Tain. The release can also be found at specialist retailers such as Master of Malt, The Whisky Exchange and Berry Bros & Rudd, with an MSRP of £75 (US$100).
