A fixture of Chichibu's core line-up, The Peated, is set to return in 2026 for its 7th edition, this time sporting the cult favourite Japanese distillery's new tagline "The Artisan Distillery".

Chichibu's The Peated was previously last released four years ago in 2022, and before that in 2012 (it's first debut), 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018.

According to its back label, the new Chichibu The Peated 2026 Edition is said to offer "Bright citrus notes unfold gracefully across the palate, creating a layered and complex flavour experience. The whisky has been bottled non-chill filtered and with no added colour to preserve its true character, leading to a soft, rich and lingering finish best enjoyed slowly."

The Chichibu The Peated 2026 will be bottled at 50.5% ABV, with 11,000 bottles to be released.
